New York Sheep and Wool Festival, here we come! Boston area fiber lovers can join our weekend in the Hudson Valley. Enjoy a day of roving, roaming and fall colors at the Sheep and Wool Festival on Saturday. There's shopping, competitions, demonstrations, classes and animal shows throughout the weekend. After spending the afternoon at the Festival, we’ll compare stories and shopping over a three course culinary delight nearby.

Staying on the Vassar Campus, there's plenty to explore Saturday night or Sunday morning. We’ll enjoy a leisurely morning before hitting the road again. For those who didn’t get enough on Saturday, you can return to the Festival for more. Or else, visit a nearby farm to pick apples and pumpkins and taste wine at an award winning winery. Autumn leaves, great fiber and fun memories will come home with us Sunday afternoon.

Cancellation: The trip cost is nonrefundable, unless participation reaches maximum bus capacity, and we are able to pull members off the waiting list to replace your spot. In this case, your trip cost is refundable, minus a $15 handling fee. This cost will be refunded by November 1, 2008.
