$95 After April 3
Hoof it down to the Martha’s Vineyard Fiber Festival with other knitters, spinners and sympathizers. Enjoy coffee, juice and fruit for breakfast as you knit and chat on the way to Wood's Hole.
When we arrive on Martha's Vineyard, our private transfer will take us to the open house at the Island Alpaca Farm and then on to the Festival. Enjoy demonstrations, fiber, music and fun. (See the Fiber Festival web site). There will be plenty of space to store fine fiber acquired on your trip!
For those less interested in fiber, you may choose to rent bicycles or purchase a day transit pass to explore the island individually. With your registration, you'll receive information and possible itineraries for exploring the island using public transit.
At the end of the day, we'll return to the Boston area, arriving between 8:30 and 9:00 pm.
The jaunt includes:
Three pickups are currently planned for the Boston area: Woburn 6:30am departure (Anderson Transit Center; near the intersection of Interstate 93 and Route 128), North Station (7am departure) and Quincy Center Transit Station (7:20am departure). Please be sure to specify your pickup site when you register!
For those interested in joining the group at Woods Hole at a cost of $40 per person, for registration information.
Cancellation: The trip cost is nonrefundable, unless participation reaches maximum bus capacity, and we are able to pull members off the waiting list to replace your spot. In this case, your trip cost is refundable, minus a $15 handling fee. This cost will be refunded by May 1, 2008.
