Enjoy a day of workshops, demonstrations and the fun of hanging out with wool lovers!
The Fiber Festival of New England splashed onto the wool scene last year with great success! The word has spread. This year, the Festival boasts 150 booths selling all kinds of wool related goodies and materials. Join us for a last fall stock up of your holiday and winter projects.
We’ll leave South Station at 8 am and Newton Riverside at 8:30 for West Springfield’s Eastern State Exposition Center (the Big “E). Our bus will drop you off at the Festival entrance and the covered facility means no worries about rain or cold, and you may bring your own lunch or choose from vendors at the Big E.
We should arrive in time if you want to have your garments or accessories in the fashion show, or volunteer to be a model. Afternoon workshops will fit in our schedule as well. The day will probably zip right by, but don’t forget to be back at the bus for its 4 pm return to the Boston area.
