Does Tactile Travel provide travel insurance?
We include travel insurance in our tour packages, underwritten by TravelGuard Insurance (New York residents have the option to decline the coverage). What about smoking?
In 2004, the Italian government banned smoking in public places. For non-smokers, this has been great! For those who do smoke, they are generally allowed to smoke outdoors or in private homes or clubs. During your trip, remember to ask before lighting up. All transportation in Tactile Travel's tours is non-smoking and we request non-smoking lodging unless requested otherwise.
What is your refund policy?
Cancellation or Refunds for International Tours
A deposit of $500 holds your place on a tour. If you decide to cancel your reservation within 14 days, your deposit is refundable, minus a $75 handling charge. This deposit becomes non-refundable 15 days after the initial reservation.
All balances are due at least 60 days before departure. If you cancel 45 – 59 days before departure, you will receive a 50% refund of the tour price. If there are 44 -15 days, the refund is reduced to 25% of the tour price. When there is 14 days or less before departure, there is no refund.
Cancellation or Refunds for United States Tours
The trip cost is nonrefundable, unless participation reaches maximum bus capacity, and we are able to pull members off the waiting list to replace your spot. In this case, your trip cost is refundable, minus a $30 handling fee. This cost will be refunded within 15 days after the tour departure date.
