Join us for a great day out to Rhinebeck

Sunday,  16 October, 2011

$65 per person

This trip is sold out. Email letsgo at tactiletravel dot com and we’ll see what we can do!

It has become a yarn lover’s pilgrimage: Rhinebeck! Whether you are looking to touch yarns not found in your local yarn store, hang around alpaca, meet authors, watch a ball of roving become a shawl, or just want to taste the Artichokes French, the New York Sheep and Wool Festival keeps the yarn and food lovers busy.

With departures from Cambridge at Alewife, Newton Riverside and Millbury/Worcester, be part of a great group of Boston wool enthusiasts! Work on your stash busting on the way over in anticipation of the great fiber ahead. Arriving around noon on Sunday, you’ll be in time for book signings, great shopping, and hopefully even the leaping llama contest! As the Festival ends, bring your wool, tools, books and other treasures back to our bus, using the ride home for show and tell or start swatching!

Departs from Alewife 7:05 am, Riverside 7:35 am and Millbury exit 10A at 8:15 am. Return between 9 and 10 pm.

Your day includes:

  • Round trip transportation between Boston and Hudson Valley
  • Entrance to the New York Sheep and Wool Festival
  • Driver Tip
